Thomas T. Terramani, M.D. completed his two-year fellowship in vascular surgery and endovascular therapy at Emory University. His vascular training included both surgical and interventional radiological training. Dr. Terramani is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery. He completed five years of surgical training and two years of vascular disease research at the University of Southern California (USC). He received his Medical Degree from USC School of Medicine and completed his Bachelors of Science at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Terramani has participated in over 40 articles published in peer reviewed journals and six book chapters in the area of vascular disease. He is involved in training surgeons nationally on the technique of anterior spine surgical exposure and in the development of surgical retractor systems for this area of spine surgery. His major areas of interests are endovascular minimally invasive vascular interventions and minimally invasive anterior lumbar spine surgical exposures, along with traditional vascular surgical procedures.
